What Do You Get for Writing a Guest Post?
Guest posts are all about mutually beneficial relationships.
You'll get gratitude from me, and exposure for you. Do you have your own art, blog, service or web presence to promote? Share your opinions and expertise here, and your post will include a brief bio and link back to your site.
Guidelines
Guest posts should be around 300-1000 words in length, and focus on art and/or collecting. Stuff related to both producing and supporting great work is appropriate:
- Want to talk pieces from your own collection you're excited about and love?
- Want to share your first time buying art?
- Know of a really awesome tee folks will want?
- Have you interviewed an artist making work you dig?
- Have a story about breaking through a creative block?
- Want to pass along some pearls of wisdom from a professional artist to one in training?
- Think folks should know about your own awesome work?
Posts should be able to stand on their own, but you can freely link to previous posts here and on your own site as well.
Posts with images (which you have the right to distribute) are most welcome, and so are videos.
Posts should be original (not published elsewhere) and I’ll even work with you to come up with something that will fit with my audience if you're stuck.
Posts should probably be written for a PG-13 audience. This may change as the audience evolves and grows, and I get more comfy in my own writing voice and tone of the blog. (PS - I'm no prude; I subscribe to VICE for godssake!)
